We are thrilled to begin a new adventure this year! You can see what our elf, Bernie, is up to by following us on Twitter (@medhatstorage) or liking us on Facebook (Medicine Hat Storage). Sue Sage, manager of our sister company Lacombe Storage Center, embarked on a journey with her ‘Elf on a Shelf’ last December. Here’s her story:
This past December I wanted to find a way to incorporate a fun aspect of reaching people with Lacombe Storage Center’s Facebook page. I have learned that not all social media posts from a business need to be about business. People enjoy pictures, humorous posts and community updates. in their news feeds too! Elf on the shelf was the idea I kept coming back to. To me, Elf brings to mind, the young hearted side of the holidays. Elf is smiling and always catches my eye. In order to start this, I had to get our Social Media Coordinator to back me up as she would be the one posting this for us on a daily basis.
It had been almost a year since their first date; Lou still couldn’t believe it all started with a broken box. Lacey was still just as beautiful. He had been thinking for some time he wanted to ask her to marry him but was nervous she might say no. You know what they say; you have to go all in!
Lou spent the day looking for that perfect ring. He decided he was going to ask her tonight, they were going wine tasting then he planned to take her back to where it all started.
When we last left Porsche Boxer she had met Lou Stubbing and transferred Lacey Lonely to a new unit. What will happen next?

“Good afternoon Lacey! How have you been?”
“Hi Porsche, I’ve been so busy! I found out that I have quite a bit more stuff than I had thought and need a bigger unit,” said Lacey as she laughed, “I’m thinking about the size of a 10 X 10, I’m going to stay with a friend until I find a new place since my house has sold”.
“You’re in luck! We have one 10X10 unit left, and congratulations on your house selling” said Porsche, “Let’s get you transferred!”
“Thank you!” Lacey said happily.
I’ve always had wonderful service. I appreciate it. You have went above and beyond.
Medicine Hat Storage has generously donated 2 full storage units to the Canadian Cancer Society! Each time I am at Medicine Hat Storage, picking up our materials, I am greeted with a warm and friendly smile!
We are so grateful for the continued generosity and support of Medicine Hat Storage as it allows for the Canadian Cancer Society to still have an active presence in the Medicine Hat community by allowing us to store supplies and materials, with easy access!
This company and the people who work here have always been friendly, courteous and professional.
The staff at Medicine Hat Storage really work hard at making their customers feel part of the family. I really appreciate what they provide for the continuation and growth of my business.
